Assoc Prof Dr Adli Azam Mohammad Razi

Assoc Prof Dr Adli Azam bin Mohammad Razi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, UiTM, and a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital Johor, Medini. A UKM and UM graduate, he completed his thoracic surgery fellowship in Korea. He was among the pioneers who established UiTM’s cardiothoracic surgery service in 2013 and performed Malaysia’s first robotic thoracic surgery in 2018. Actively involved in postgraduate training, he serves on the MBCTS and UiTM-IJN programme committees. His clinical interests include minimally invasive thoracic surgery and off-pump CABG. Dr Adli is also a founding member of SEATS and actively contributes to both national and international cardiothoracic societies.

Assoc Prof Dr Adlinda Alip

Assoc Prof Dr Adlinda graduated from Southampton University, UK and completed general medical training before being awarded the MRCP by the Royal College of Physician, UK. She obtained FRCR by the Royal College of Radiologist (Clinical Oncology) UK and awarded certificate of completion (CCT) in Clinical Oncology by General Medical Council UK in 2011. She joined University of Malaya as a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Oncologist in 2012. She is a principal and sub investigator for several ongoing and completed clinical trials. Her main sites of interest include Lung, Breast, Genitourinary Cancers and CNS tumour. She also has particular interest in Stereotactic Radiosurgery/Body Radiotherapy.

Dr Adrian Ooi Seng Wae

Dr Adrian Ooi Seng Wae is a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon with an extensive international portfolio in robotic and uniportal VATS surgery. He currently leads Cardiology & Cardiothoracic Services at Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre and holds visiting consultant roles at iHEAL Medical Centre and Serdang Hospital. A fellow of prestigious surgical colleges in the UK and Malaysia, Dr Ooi has pioneered keyhole and robotic thoracic surgeries across Southeast Asia. Formerly with Singapore’s National Heart Centre and Southampton University Hospital, he has lectured in multiple medical schools across the UK and Asia and directed surgical residency programs. He founded leading CTS centers and associations like ASTS and ATEP, and has presented in over ten countries. With over 4,000 cardiac and thoracic surgeries performed, numerous publications, and awards such as the World Dance Council President Award for humanitarian efforts, Dr Ooi is a key figure in advancing minimally invasive cardiothoracic surgery globally.

Dr Aldrin Jasper Placidus

Aldrin is a Clinical Oncologist based at the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology, Sabah Women and Children Hospital. He obtained his medical degree from University Malaysia Sabah back in year 2010, before fulfilling his duties at the Duchess of Kent Hospital Sandakan. A Sabahan native, he pursued his interest in oncology, and in 2021 he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Oncology from University Malaya. Devoted to providing optimal cancer care especially in the rural parts of Sabah, Aldrin has been involved in several outreach programs, visiting clinics, and clinical trials. Together with his dedicated team, in September 2022, the first stereotactic radiosurgery service was established in Sabah.

Dr Amit Verma

Dr Amit Verma is a pioneering molecular oncologist and cancer geneticist with over 15 years of experience in personalized cancer therapy and research. As the Founder and Director of the Dr. AV Institute of Personalized Cancer Therapy & Research, he is recognized for revolutionizing cancer care through advanced molecular techniques. Dr Verma combines genomics, computational biology, and imaging to develop individualized treatment strategies for complex and late-stage cancers. Prof Anand Sachithanandan

Prof Anand Sachithanandan is a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon to Sunway Medical Center & Subang Jaya Medical Center. He is the founding president of Lung Cancer Network Malaysia (LCNM), a disease-centric NGO dedicated to improving care and outcomes for lung cancer locally. He has championed and pioneered lung cancer screening in Malaysia including adoption of innovative AI-enhanced imaging and use of biomarkers. A strong advocate for multi disciplinary care, under his leadership LCNM has developed several national firsts to enhance lung cancer care including a digital patient navigation guide , a patient counselling tool for specialist doctors and clinical practice guidelines. Prof Anand is a clinical professor at the School of Medical & Life Sciences, Sunway University and adjunct professor in the Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya.

Dr Arnil George Sirimanne

Dr Arnil George Sirimannecompleted his undergraduate studies at Penang Medical College and got his MB BCh BAO (Ireland) degree in 2002. He completed his Master of Clinical Oncology at Universiti Malaya in 2017 and served as a Clinical Oncologist at Hospital Umum Sarawak and Institut Kanser Negara until late 2021. His current interests are stereotactic radiosurgery of the brain, head & neck and urological malignancies. Currently, he is practising as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Prince Court Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Dr Azza Omar

Dr Azza Omar is a Respiratory Physician in Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II in Kelantan Malaysia. She attained both her undergraduate and masters from the Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1999 and 2008 respectively. Later, she continued her respiratory fellowship in various hospitals in Malaysia. Her main interest lies in Lung Oncology, Severe Asthma and COPD. Dr Azza Omar is a member of the developing committee for Malaysian CPG Asthma and Advance Diploma in Respiratory Care. She is also the Adjunc. Prof for Lincoln University College based in Kota Bharu Kelantan.

Dr Benedict Dharmaraj Retna Pandian

Dr. Benedict Dharmaraj is a Consultant Thoracic and General Surgeon, who is currently attached with the Thoracic Surgery Unit of Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Beacon Hospital, Selangor. Born in Perak, he completed both his basic medical degree and Masters in General Surgery in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2006 and 2015 respectively. He completed his training in Thoracic Surgery in 2022. To date, he has been involved in over 20 publications pertaining to thoracic surgery, including a book chapter on VATS segmentectomy. His forte includes VATS lobectomy for lung cancer, VATS thymectomy, Non-intubated thoracoscopic surgery (NiVATS) and complex chest wall resection and reconstruction. He currently serves as a committee member in the Evaluation Committee for Thoracic Surgery under the Malaysian Medical Council. He is also a life member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), the Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS), the Society of Endo-laparoscopic Surgeons of Malaysia (SELSMA), and the South East Asian Thoracic Society.

Assoc Prof Dr Caryn Chan Mei-Hsien

Caryn Mei Hsien Chan is an Associate Professor and Consultant Psychologist at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, specializing in psychology and behaviour change strategies for preventing non-communicable diseases, particularly tobacco and cancer control. She advises the Malaysian government and global initiatives on national health policy and guidelines. She serves as a WHO Technical Advisory Group member for Behavioural Sciences, and on the technical committee and working group for Malaysia’s WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and National Strategic Plan for Non-Communicable Diseases. Prof. Chan is an executive board member of Malaysia’s Medical Research & Ethics Committee and a Deputy Chair of UKM’s Research Ethics Committee. With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, she actively mentors researchers and contributes to public health initiatives across Southeast Asia.

Dr Chen May Feng

Dr Cheo Seng Wee

Dr Chiew Seow Fan

Dr Chiew Seow Fan serves as consultant histopathologist at the UM Medical Centre (UMMC). She studied medicine at the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia and trained in Master of Pathology (Anatomy Pathology) at University Malaya. She obtained fellowship from Royal College of Pathology, United Kingdom (FRCPath, UK) and International Academy of Cytology. Her research interests are in lung and breast pathology, Molecular pathology, digital pathology and artificial intelligence. Currently she is the pathologist-in-charge of Lung Cancer MDT in UMMC.

Dr Chong Chan Teng

He is currently a clinical oncologist at the National Cancer Institute, specializing in the treatment of head and neck, breast, colorectal, and gynecological cancers. Dedicated to advancing cancer care, Dr. Chong actively participates as a sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials, contributing to innovative research focused on improving patient outcomes. He believes in treating cancer patients holistically, addressing not only the physical aspects of the disease but also the psychological, social, and nutritional factors to enhance overall patient well-being and recovery.

Dr Chong Kong Yong

Dr Christopher Wong Wing Cheong

Dr Wong obtained his doctorate in Pathology from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, studying the process of lung cancer metastasis. He has >25 years experience setting up laboratories and developing genomics-based clinical applications for infectious disease detection and cancer therapy selection with the goal of improving healthcare outcomes. A founding scientist of the Genome Institute of Singapore (A*STAR), he established the first clinical genomics laboratory in Singapore (licensed by Ministry of Health and CAP-Accredited). Among his leadership roles at Gene Solutions, he is Laboratory Director of the Singapore facility. He is also a Molecular Pathology Inspector for the College of American Pathologists.

Dr Daren Teoh Choon Yu

Dr Daren Teoh obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nottingham in 1999. He went on to gain the MRCP (UK) and FRCR (UK) qualifications and completed his specialist training in clinical oncology in the UK. Dr Daren was previously Consultant Oncologist at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, UK. On return to Malaysia, he was Head of the Radiotherapy and Oncology Department and Clinical Research Centre at Likas Hospital, Sabah from 2010 - 2014. He has been a Principal investigator in over 10 multi-centred clinical trials and published his findings in peer reviewed journals. He is currently Consultant Oncologist at KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital and is an Honorary Lecturer at University Malaysia Sabah.

Dr David Lee Dai Wee

Dr David Lee Dai Wee is a consultant clinical oncologist at the University of Malaya Medical Centre and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. He received his undergraduate medical education at International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia, and subsequently Master of Clinical Oncology at the University of Malaya in 2020. Dr Lee also holds FRCR (Clinical Oncology) since 2022. He completed a fellowship in experimental therapeutics under guidance of Dr Daniel Tan at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, involving in the conduct of more than 40 early-phase clinical trials. He is the principle investigator for various international multicenter clinical trials, focusing on early-phase studies, thoracic cancers, and head and neck cancers. Dr Lee is the inaugural recipient of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Leadership Development Program - Asia Pacific award in 2021-2022. He received the ASCO International Development and Education Award (IDEA) in 2024, and IASLC Academy Award 2024. Currently Dr Lee serves in the ASCO Membership Advisory Group, IASLC Multidisciplinary Clinical Science Committee and FARO Council.

Ms Diong Nguk Chai

Dr Diong Nguk Chai obtained her medical degree from International Medical University in 2006 and Master in Surgery from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015. Pn Haarathi Chandriah

Pn Haarathi Chandriah, a registered pharmacist, began her career in 2003 as a hospital pharmacist in MOH, contributing to in-patient and ward pharmacy services. In 2009, she joined the Malaysian Health Technology Assessment Section (MaHTAS), Ministry of Health where she gained interest and expertise in Health technology assessment (HTA). She obtained her Masters of Clinical Pharmacy in 2010 and later joined the Pharmacy Practice and Development Division, MOH in 2011. Her key role was to conduct HTA to support MOH Medicines Formulary decisions. Currently, she is the head of Drug Evaluation & Pharmacoeconomics Section, at Pharmacy Practice and Development Division. She has been invited as a speaker and trainer at various workshops and scientific events. She is the recipient of Cancer Research Award by the Cancer Council Malaysia for her PhD research. She is also the present Assistant Secretary of the Malaysian Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research (MySPOR).

Assoc Prof Dr Herbert Loong

Dr. Herbert H. Loong holds conjoint appointments of Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Oncology and Deputy Medical Director of the Phase 1 Clinical Trials Centre of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Loong obtained his medical degree with a Distinction in Surgery from The University of Hong Kong in 2003. He has completed a Fellowship in Drug Development at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada with a focus on Experimental Therapeutics. His clinical and research interests include Thoracic Oncology, Sarcoma Medical Oncology and Health Economics. Dr. Loong is a recipient of the European Cancer Congress Fellowship Grant (2013), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting Merit Award (2014), the Hong Kong College of Physicians Young Investigators’ Award (2014). Dr. Loong led the Lung Cancer Team at CUHK to be bestowed the IASLC Foundation Cancer Care Team Award in recognition for providing the best thoracic oncology care in “Asia & Rest of the World” in 2018.

Prof Dr How Soon Hin

Dr Huan Nai Chien

Dr Huan Nai Chien is currently working as a consultant respiratory and internal medicine physician at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Dr Huan undertook his medical degree at Monash University, graduating with honours. He subsequently completed his internal medicine and respiratory medicine training under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Dr Ikmal Hisyam Bakrin

He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with an M.D in 2005 and subsequently obtained his Master of Pathology from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014. Dr Izzuna Mudla Mohamad Ghazali

Dr Izzuna Mudla Mohamed Ghazali is a Public Health Physician and the Deputy Director of the Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia. She leads the Malaysian Health Technology Assessment Section (MaHTAS). MaHTAS evaluates health technologies which includes medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical and surgical procedures, public health interventions and digital technologies for decisions on reimbursement, clinical practice, procurement, pricing and service coverage. Dr Izzuna is actively involved at the local and international levels. She is the steering committee of i-CONNECT (Malaysia Collaborative Network for Innovation, Academy of Science Malaysia), and committee members of Healthtechhub Monitoring Committee, Nutritional Research, National Technology Innovation Sandbox, DRG Implementation Technical Committee, and the National Rare Disease Committee. At the international level, she is currently the Vice President of the International Health TechScan (i-HTS) (Health System Demands and Policy Integration), Past Chair of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research (ISPOR) HTA Roundtable Asia Pacific, Past-President of HTAsiaLink, and a member of the organizing committee for HTAi Asia Policy Forum.

Dr Jennifer Leong

Dr Jennifer Leong Siew Mooi is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Sunway Medical Centre. She graduated with Masters in Clinical Oncology from University Malaya in 2015 and went to practice at the National Cancer Institute prior to joining Sunway Medical Centre in 2020. Dr Jennifer offers advice on systemic therapy for various cancer sites and her key area of interest lies in the management of hepatobiliary, lung and gynaecological cancers. Her expertise is sought after in various advisory boards, both locally and regionally. She is also well-skilled in advanced radiotherapy planning. Beyond clinical work, Dr Jennifer is a huge advocate on patient advocacy and raising cancer awareness among the public. She currently holds the position of an executive committee member in the City Cancer Challenge in Greater Petaling, which aims to improve accessibility of cancer treatment to the community and strengthening the local health care system. Dr Jennifer is a member of the Malaysian Oncological Society (MOS), ESMO, ESTRO, IASLC and ASCO.

Dr Kumaresh Raj Lachmanan

Dr Kumaresh Raj Lachmanan graduated from the University of Malaya in 2004 and obtained his MRCP(UK) in 2010. He completed his Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine at the Ministry of Health and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Australia, in 2015, after which he served at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. Currently, Dr Kumaresh is working at Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh. He is an active member of the Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS), the Asia Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR), the Malaysian Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (MABIP), and the Malaysian Mensa Society. Dr Lim Boon Khaw is a Malaysian Respiratory and General Physician with over two decades of clinical and academic experience. He currently practices at Sunway Medical Centre, where he specializes in managing asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, pleural diseases, sleep apnea, and lung cancer, with active involvement in pharmaceutical research. She is the Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials in lung cancer and involved in multiple physician-initiated studies in breast cancers, lung cancers, brain metastases and onco-fertility. Prof Dr Mohamad Haniki Nik Mohamed

Prof Dr Mohammad Haniki Nik Mohamed obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy (USM, 1992) and Doctor of Pharmacy (University of Tennessee, 1996), followed by a post-doctoral fellowship before returning to USM. He later joined IIUM, serving in various leadership roles including Deputy Dean and Acting Dean. A pioneer in tobacco control, he was a core member of Malaysia’s first CPG on smoking cessation (2003), chaired the 2016 CPG on Tobacco Use Disorder, and currently chairs key tobacco policy committees under the Ministry of Health. He also coordinated USM’s first multidisciplinary quit-smoking clinic and led the National e-Cig Survey 2016. In 2024, he received the Malaysian Paediatric Association Outstanding Child and Adolescent Advocacy Service Award for his impactful contributions.

Dr Mohammad Zabri Johari

Dr Mohammad Zabri Johari is a distinguished researcher currently based at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Malaysia, under the Institute for Health Behavioural Research (IHBR/IPTK). Dr Zabri earned his PhD from the Institute of Health and Society, University of Newcastle, UK, with a specialization in Public Health Psychology. A trained mixed methods researcher, Dr Zabri brings comprehensive expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with a strong emphasis on methodological development, research ethics, and project management. His contributions at NIH are multifaceted—he currently serves as a member of the Medical Research and Ethics Committee (MREC) and the NIH Research Review Panel (JPP-NIH). Previously, he led the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Research Cluster. Beyond NIH, Dr Zabri contributes to national innovation and research through his involvement with MOSTI as a Technical and Commercial Panel Member and a member of the My Social Innovation Panel. He is also actively engaged as an evaluator and advisor in various academic institutions, both public and private. Assoc Prof Dr Murallitharan Munisamy

Assoc Prof Dr Murallitharan Munisamy is a Public Health Physician from Malaysia. He trained as a Medical Officer under a Government of Malaysia scholarship. He subsequently completed a Masters in Community Health Sciences at the National University of Malaysia and read for a PhD in Public Health at the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand under an ASEAN Economic Community scholarship. Dr Murallitharan was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship in 2015 by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and completed a term as a Fellow in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics and Political Science, two of the top world’s top universities. In addition to working in multiple capacities with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and multiple organisations including the World Health Organisation, Dr Murallitharan was also previously an award-winning journalist for the New Straits Times, one of Malaysia’s leading English newspapers. Dr Murallitharan is also passionate about and deeply involved with healthcare services for marginalized and underprivileged groups and works closely with many service organisations. Dr Murallitharan is currently the Managing Director of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. He was selected one of the world’s Young Cancer Leaders for 2019/2020 by the Union for International Cancer Control, the world’s largest grouping of organisations working in cancer. In 2022 he was awarded World’s Best Cancer CEO by the UICC, the first Malaysian to be awarded this honour. Dr Murallitharan is also a health columnist with the leading national online daily Free Malaysia Today.

Dr Muthukkumaran Thiagarajan

Dr Muthukkumaran obtained his Masters in Clinical Oncology from University of Malaya in 2013. He previously served at Sabah Women and Children Hospital and currently based at Hospital Kuala Lumpur’s Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology. Dr Muthukkumaran has a special interest in pulmonary oncology, genitourinary oncology, neuro oncology (including stereotactic cranial radiosurgery) and paediatric radiation. He is actively involved in both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical research. Dr Muthukkumaran is currently the President of the Malaysian Oncological Society (MOS). Dr Najihah Abu Bakar

Dr Nizam Baharom

Dr Nizam Baharom is a Public Health Medicine Specialist and medical lecturer at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He has been involved in several research and programmes in tobacco smoking and vape use in Malaysia and also in Chengdu, China. Dr Nizam is a member of the WHO FCTC Technical Working Group on Scientific Evidence under the Ministry of Health Malaysia, where he contributes to discussions on tobacco control policies. He is also a co-author of the Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Treatment of Tobacco Use Disorder, providing guidance on smoking cessation strategies in Malaysia. With a strong interest in public health and policy, Dr Nizam actively supports Malaysia’s goal of becoming a smoke-free nation in the future. His work continues to contribute to efforts aimed at reducing the harms of smoking and vaping through research, advocacy, and policy development.

Dr Norhaneza Ahmad Badruddin

Dr Norhidayu Salimin

Dr Norhidayu Salimin is a clinical oncologist practicing at the National Cancer Institute (IKN), Putrajaya, specialising in treatment of various solid tumour sites through systemic and radiation therapies. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2010, and Master of Clinical Oncology from University Malaya in 2021. She currently serves as a principal investigator in various Phase III clinical trials, particularly in the field of breast and gastric cancer. Additionally, she holds the position of a postgraduate trainer for the Master of Clinical Oncology program at University Malaya and the FRCR (Clinical Oncology) Parallel Pathway. He trained as a Radiologist in Universiti Malaya and completed his Neuroradiology training in the University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and a member of the Royal College of Physicians. His clinical interests are in tumours of the Central Nervous System in adults and children, and Head and Neck imaging. His research interests include the use of AI in cardiovascular and neuro imaging and CNS tumours in children and adults. His research interests include the development of novel drug strategies for the treatment of thoracic cancers through clinical trials, the dentification of DNA variants that influence thoracic cancer development and their impact on clinical behaviour, as well as the identification of biomarkers predictive of therapeutic effect. Prof Dr Sivakumar Krishnasamy

Prof Soon is also a Founding Board Member of the South East Asian Thoracic Society and currently serves as Chair of the SEATS School of Thoracic Surgery. He is the pioneer and lead for the Malaysia Lung Cancer Registry and acts as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSEd). As a proctor in VATS Surgery and TEVAR, he plays a vital role in advancing minimally invasive techniques. Additionally, Prof Soon is a trainer for the Malaysia Cardiothoracic Fellowship Training Programme and has contributed as an investigator or sub-investigator in multiple Phase 3 randomized trials. He has also authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. His expertise is recognized internationally, as he frequently serves as invited faculty at various international congresses and societies.

Dr Soon Yu Yang

Dr Soon is a Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore. He graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2009 and completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore in October 2016. He has also spent 6 months of his residency training at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia. He completed the Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology at Harvard University in May 2018. Dr Tan Jiunn Liang

He attained his Master in Internal Medicine degree in University Malaya in 2014 and later completed his Fellowship training in Respirology in 2018. Dr Tan Sin Nee

Dr Voon Pei Jye

Dr Voon Pei Jye is the Head and Consultant Medical Oncologist, Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology, Hospital Umum Sarawak (Sarawak General Hospital). He is also an Adjunct Professor Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He read medicine at UNIMAS. He subsequently obtained his MRCP (United Kingdom) and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from National University of Singapore. Thereafter, he received his advanced specialist training in Medical Oncology from National University Hospital Singapore. He has also completed his Phase 1 Drug Development clinical research fellowship at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto, Canada. He is an active investigator for numerous cancer trials encompassing early phase through to late phase studies. He has keen interest in oncology development therapeutic and thoracic oncology. Dr Voon has published in various peer reviewed journals. He is a recipient for Hold’em for Life Oncology Fellowship Award, University of Toronto. He has also won the Scholar Training Award from AACR-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics 2021.

Dr Wong Yi Heng

Dr Wong Yoke Fui

She is currently a Clinical Oncologist working at Institut Kanser Negara (National Cancer Institute) since 2014. She hold the post of Head of Clinical Research Center (CRC) IKN since 2016. She is supervisor for Master of Clinical Oncology. Dr Wong involved in multiple clinical trials as PI and Sub-I and awarded as National Top Recruiter year 2018. She is currently involved in MDT for Lung, NET, Maxillofacial and Head and Neck cancers. She is the developmental group for Stereostatic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) for lungs and bone in IKN. Year 2024, appointed as panel of expert (POE) for First in Human (FIH) for Ministry of Health.

Dr Yew Chian-Yih

A Penangite, he obtained his undergraduate qualification from Crimea State Medical University in 2009. He obtained Masters of Internal Medicine from University Malaya in 2021 and completed his gazettement as Physician in 2022. In 2024 he enrolled under Malaysian Ministry of Health, for Internal Medicine subspecialty training in Medical Oncology, and is currently working in the Radiotherapy, Oncology and Palliative Care Department of Hospital Umum Sarawak.

Datin Dr Zuhanis Abdul Hamid

Datin Dr Zuhanis (aka Dr Anis) graduated from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1995. Then she join the radiology master program of University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2006. She graduate and become radiologist in 2009 . Seven years later she continue to pursue in subspecialty program in thoracic radiology for another three years. She did her attachment in Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital under the supervision of Professor Sujal Desai in 2019. Since then , she continue to provide service in thoracic radiology fraternity covering the whole country with the help from other thoracic radiologies colleague and her fellow. She has trained 7 thoracic radiologist in Malaysia at present. She actively participates in various committees such as MAHTAS Committee For Endobronchiol Intervention for Lung Emphysema, 2018, develops guideline in US abdomen for Non Radiologist and multidisciplinary discussion body for Interstitial Lung Disease. She is also a member of European Respiratory Society (life member), European Society of Thoracic Imaging (ESTI), Member of Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS-Life member) and member of Society of Thoracic Radiology (STR). She is active in development and education of interstitial lung disease for Ministry of Health of Malaysia through many collaboration with universities and pharma companies.
